beware of bait n switch – when i called to get an estimate to get my front brake pads changed, there price was $40 more than other shops. but that was ok since they were very close and location was important because it saved me time. after getting there the price went from $200 to more than $800. i told i did not want to have the work done and left. i then took my car to a Ford Dealership and had them check my brakes. the checked it an told me i need to change the brake pads and "turn down" the rotors. i then show them the k... read more

2.5 hours to fix a flat?? – This location at 117 E Oltorf is not actually a Walker Tire. It's Goodyear. But I was driving on a donut, so when I got there, I decided to try it out. Arrived at 8 am with a flat tire and didn't leave until 10:30. They treated me like I was a woman and therefore know nothing about cars. Told me they would start work on my car in 10 minutes; 45 minutes later, I asked the guy at the counter because I could see that my car out front hadn't moved, and he brushed me off.
