Showed up 20 minutes early to appt and wasn't see til 30 minutes after scheduled time. So, 50 minutes of waiting. Once being seen basically rushed to get the work done as there was a line of folks to be seen. The forms you fill out before being seen will be uploaded to VA which I didn't know. The are very short boxes to fill out which doesn't allow for you to explain everything. In my opinion, this will look bad for folks being seen and to support your claims. Doc Vanemelen and his staff were very kind and patient. I didn’t feel rushed at all. He had reviewed my case before I got there and did a very thorough exam. He even used a tool that accurately measured my range of motion which was an important part of the exam for the VA to understand my physical limitations. I just retired and I was not expecting much in terms of my VA rating but I ended up getting a very fair rating due to his diligent and thorough submission.
