Went because we had a groupon. Will be back for the food. The food was so delicious and filling and plentiful, and the employees so polite and cheerful and helpful, that we actually felt bad for getting such a great deal. Everything we ate was fantastic - even the coffee! It was nice getting homemade soup instead of the canned stuff so many places serve. This place is a ethnic and historic hidden gem. Opened in 1922 it is a step into the past. The Czech food and beer is great. I hope this Chicagoland landmark is around for many years to come. Not to mention Al Capone and his gangster friends hanging out at the brothel upstairs....
