I have to say the receptionist is the rudest person I’ve ever come across. For over a year I’ve been getting the excuse that the systems down and they have to reboot and I never hear anything back or get attacked for calling more then once in the day because I am trying to book an appointment. It has nothing to do with not answering the phone, that’s common in alot of places but she has no right to speak to people like that when she chose that job. The receptionist is not approachable and rude. My mother wants to use the washroom if possible but she insist that they don't have washroom but before she use the washroom because she is one of the patients. I just feel bad for my mother.Im working in customer service too. That's why i can say that she don't know customer service etiquette.

I caution you to avoid Dr Sonnie Oyama. I had seen him months ago and accepted him as my family doctor. Last visit, I expressed some concerns about issues that I was having and asked for his recommendation/advice. After he explained that it was best to visit another dr at a walk in clinic and pay them for a note because they have less time, he asked his receptionist (in front of me) to note that he would no longer be seeing me. When I asked why, he said "we don't communicate well". I'm not sure what that even means.

I really like Dr. Sonnie Oyamma, he is a caring doctor. Having arrived in Edmonton, I was happy to be able to take him on as my family doctor. negative point . it is very difficult to get an appointment. walk in clinic is not available. And if you are lucky they can answer through the phone.
