Klamath hospice was so amazing with my mom and dad. And they were so caring and attended to my dad's every need I cannot say enough good about the way they helped us through the end times with my father. These ladies became part of our family they were just amazing.
My mom and I were not happy with Klamath Hospice. My dad came out of the bathroom with a lot of blood coming out of his mouth, so I called after hours for assistance. A on call nurse called. She was not helpful at all. I signed him off and took him to ER. Signed him up with another Hospice that we are happy with. So people do your homework before signing your loved one into Hospice.
The most caring people work at Klamath Hospice & Palliative Care. The staff are knowledgeable and compassionate and I will never forget them💕
While there are individuals within the service who are very qualified caring and compassionate, I suspect the problem starts at the top. Several occasions of calloused response over the phone leaving a hurting, fearful, desperate caller feeling very much alone. As if helping to comfort a patient is a burden to try to find excuses to avoid. Called last night when friend was unresponsive ... "I'm sorry.
