Klam Construction replaced my roof and did it right. The lines are straight, the edges and flashing are clean, and the whole roof looks sharp from the street. You can tell they know what they’re doing. The crew worked late on a Saturday night to finish the job before a heavy rain, which I appreciated. Really impressed with their workmanship. My roof had developed a few leaks over the years, and the cost of more repairs would have been a significant portion of a new roof. I had quotes from a number of different roofers, and while Klam wasn’t the cheapest it was half the price of some of the highest quotes that I received. My ventilation was upgraded with a number of new vents, plywood decking was replaced and a new roof installed. Very positive experience! Owner of company came to perform initial inspection for scope of work to be done; he took the time to explain the process in detail as to what to expect. Crew was like a well oiled machine, very efficient.
Klam did a great job on the simple roof on my small house i southeast Portland. They were timely and professional. Owner Abel was energetic, attentive, and communicacative, and he provide good insights and advice. I am an engineer with construction experience, and I appreciate Abels detailed explanations. Katie in the office was responsive and helpful. The crew was efficient and professional. I recommend Klam.
