Be very careful of the North Bergen office. The people who see the patients are not doctors and there is a huge language barrier. Here is what I experienced : I was accidentally given the medical record of a different patient in 2022. An incorrect prescription was sent to the mammogram facility multiple times. The “doctor” told me that I need a colonoscopy. She did not offer cologard nor did she refer a specialist or a primary care physician after I explained that I did not have either one. I’am horrified to see this doctor is still around! My children are grown up now, but he delivered 3 of my 4. I was very young and my husband, at the time and I wanted a big family. My husband made enough money to support a big family. He treated us like we were worthless. I was young and didn’t know any better. I went home and cried after some of my visits because he belittled me. I will never forget that. I was looking him up today, hoping he lost his license or went out of business. I’m totally disgusted. Dr.Kitzis the best,,delivered my daughter almost 17 years ago. Best professional, I move out of state otherwise he will be my dr.forever
Dr. Kitzis has been my doctor for 30 years + he delivered both my children via C-section and I can't say I'ver had a bad experience with him. He's not a warm fuzzy guy but if I ever had a question, he always explained everything to me. Since he doesn't do surgeries any more he recommended Dr. Pablo, who by the way I didn't have a chance to meet until the day of my surgery.
