There are no frills here and you shouldn't expect there to be. The food is amazingly fresh, fast, and you get more than a normal person should eat at one sitting. My favorite is the fish fry, but the scallops were also just big and amazing. They also serve delicious hush puppies which I haven't seen too much of North of the Mason Dixon line. The owners and workers are blue collar heroes so don't expect a faux smile and over enthusiastic fake courtesy. They are genuine and friendly and they make amazing food for very cheap.

THE BEST in town. You can't beat the prices, the quantity of food you get and the quality. It's the only place I'll go for a fish fry and other seafood.
Excellent fish fry. Portions are RIDICULOUSLY large...one easily feeds 2-3 people! Specify fries "well done", otherwise a little soggy. Not sure how the other fish they sell is, but Fish Fry is excellent. Look closely at expiration dates on grocery items, though.
Yesterday I ordered 2 lbs of the Icelandic cod to take home. The guy who served me said it's fresh but the fish is old and has a rotten smell, I throw it away. Never again!
I went there today and ordered a broiled haddock dinner with shrimp, scallops and fries. Everything was overcooked and rubbery but the fries. The seasoning and butter sauce on the fish had a horrible taste to it. I got undercooked same dinner the first time I went but decided to give it another try but after wasting my money today.. My husband had a combo dinner that was way overcooked. I called but can't get an answer on the phone. I am disappointed in spending over $30 for food I couldn't eat.. Never again.
I love to call in my order and go faithfully every Friday:):):)
