The store is very impressive with a wide array of upscale and gourmet items. The personnel, however, left much to be desired. After my greeting her first, I then asked if they carried kitchen timers. She shook her head "no". I walked down the far aisle to leave and saw more than one hanging on the wall. Hmmmm..not sure if I interrupted something, or it wasn't a purchase to be bothered with. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. From the website photos, looked like it was the owner I encountered.
RecommendedLet me first say that TKK is one of my favorite local shops. One of the ONLY places to buy the best vanilla, among other quality items. Please carefully consider not responding to a customer simply exchanging a defective item with “oh, that bothers you?” as if one should casually accept a tiny defect on a small, inexpensive item. The Kitchen Koop has a little bit of everything kitchen. I love being able to go in and hold items in my hands before I make a purchase. Its great to shop in your community and I love that this store has things I didnt even know I wanted.
We have only been twice, but we will continue to return. Do yourself a favor and pay this place a visit.
The owner is wonderful to deal with and has great cooking classes. The shop has everything you could want or need in your kitchen.

This is my favorite place to get unique gifts. And, I don’t know how she does it, but the owner remembers year after year who o got what for even though she’s never met them. I absolutely LOVE The Kitchen Koop!
