Please read all the 1 star reviews posted fairly recently. Our experience is exactly the same. We originally hired them as Kitchen Door, last October. At some point, they became Laurel Landscapes and all the people I had been working with were gone. Several turnovers and no communication from them. We finally got the project started in June and everything fell apart even more. They tried to add several dishonest things into the contract but we caught it and made them change it. Like many others who've posted reviews, I had an initial positive experience with Laurel Landscapes (when they were called Kitchen Door), but soon found things became chaotic, disorganized, and unprofessional. Our project managers changed multiple times without warning or notifications. They had problems with their contractors (apparently Laurel Landscapes hadn't paid them despite the fact we had paid Laurel Landscapes), which affected their finishing our project. I was informed by the person who finished the management for my project (different than the one who started) that this company has “gone under” after being repeatedly told all work was lifetime guaranteed. And yet the website is still live, so I very much do not know what’s going on here; but the project, spanning 2 years, was done at a rookie level and is currently leaking water and requires me to find a new person to fix the “guaranteed” work. Do not recommend getting involved with this shady company.

My initially decent experience with Kitchen Door (now Laurel Landscapes) quickly became chaotic as my project switched hands between multiple different coordinators. Communication was difficult and then nonexistent when I reached out about the supposed 1-year warranty on plants; I was unable to get in touch with anyone after contacting multiple different team members through multiple different platforms on multiple occasions. Laurel Landscapes is in the process of filing bankruptcy, after laying off 90 employees at once over zoom. They have not paid their contractors, nor their full time employees. I was a customer, and will not get back my $1500 gardening deposit. The owners will not return any customer calls, despite owing their customers tens of thousands of dollars for deposits paid with no completed work. This should be criminal, and the owners should be held liable.
