Booked it via Amex Platinum benefits, you can use the $100 credit to offset the valet parking fee; no self-parking option. The valet gentlemen are all professional and nice! The front desk staff didn't notice I booked through Amex, so didn't tell me the benefits, which it's okay, I could tell it was a mess and busy when I checked in. The only thing I would strong recommend folks that are a light sleepers is to avoid this hotel or ask for rooms that are not facing the road. The Kissel Uptown is a decent hotel. Rooms are quite big. Beds are comfortable. Restaurants, a supermarket and BART are all in walking distance. I liked it.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I am frustrated with the front desk in the morning. I requested to use the original card on the file and verify the card number with her, but the next day she was like I don’t know. I can do that today, but not yesterday. Didn’t even apologize and asked me to use the same room the second night even I paid more on the second night. Edit: your non-reply speaks to your customer service or lack thereof. I booked at the Marriott, where I got complementary early check-in at 11am. And this is my point. If I know I can get this somewhere else, why would I pay $50 at your hotel? Just booked and cancelled my reservation here. Charging 55 dollars for check-in after noon is a bit too immature for me. Pls review this policy.
