We were traveling from North Carolina to the hunting camp in PA..Friday afternoon our pug Choppers stopped breathing. We went to the first vet we got to which was Kish Veterinary Service. We went in and the receptionist told us they were busy and the vet was in surgery , she recommended another place and we told her he wouldn’t make it. I took my dog there to have a culture done on her lip because she had a tumor on there and the vet did blood work came back out told me she had Lyme's disease we weren't going to worry about the tumor on her lip two days later I had to take her over to metzger's hospital she had a big tumor on her spleen that bursts did that catch that should have caught when I had her there two weeks ago I want and take a pet rock to the vet
Kish bet has been there though both good and rough times, they have gone out of there way to try and help us in an emergency, they treat you like family rather than another dollar in their pocket. When we lost our dog they sent us a condolence card, they really do have a huge heat and I’m glad to be apart of there clientele. Thank you to all of you at kish!

When a dog goes in to get teeth cleaned and comes out with all but four teeth pulled and No phone call to ask permission or even to warn a person, I'd say that's pretty pathetic. You have lost a lot of business.
We took our pet there to have a tooth pulled. that went ok. we took him back for red spots and blood under skin they prescribed a antibiotic spray. we were told a blood culture was done. Several weeks later we took our pet to state college. our pet was having seisures and we found out that his blood platelets was very low. our pet was bleeding thru his skin. he was bleeding on the brain because blood could not clot, bottom line we lost our beloved pet. was there a blood culture done? Ifso what did you find?
Went at 7:30 this morning with our dog we knew was dying and suffering and needed to be put down. Office hours stated 7:30 even though no doctor was there. They offered to call a vet in if we paid 260 dollars up front before they would call. (They couldn't just have a vet come in even though it was office hours) we were willing but they couldnt reach a vet. We had to go to reedsville to see a vet and they were wonderful and compassionate. Will never ever take another animal to kish. It was all about money and they could have... read more
