I don’t recommend this place at all. Took my boys there for hair cuts and both of the hair styles did a bad job. One was getting mad because I ask him to fix one of my boys hair, and the other one don’t even know how to do edges. Was so bad I ask her to stop and don’t touch my boys hair anymore. Good thing is summer, the boys hair will grow back and I will have time to look around for a new haircut place. Don’t recommend at all, go at your own risk.
My husband went in and asked for a high drop fade (showed a picture); the lady with the ratchet blonde/brown hair with glasses damn near cut him bald. She took the word high literally.. messed up his head a day before his blues inspection. I’m sure she lied on her application to this place because she don’t know how to cut hair!!!!! Great spot for a quick, clean haircut on base. The barbers are friendly, fast, and do solid work every time. Super convenient and easy to fit into the day without having to leave base. Definitely my go-to for a no-hassle cut.
The 2 star rating is for PRICE. Now the barber shop on base is about the same price as most barber shops in the city. AAFES used to give a price break to service people shopping on base or utilizing services but not anymore. We now go to a local barber shop closer to us. It's about $5.00 cheaper than the base and covers the tip.
Man, just calling was a terrible experience. As I was talking, the woman on the other end sighed so loudly, I almost forgot what I was saying, i said “I’m sorry, did I do something to you, did I make you mad in some way?” She said nothing, and just talked over me before I could finish a question. Told her she needed to change her attitude cuz she was rude as hell.
