I've been to most resorts in Tahoe, but Kirkwood is my favorite. Girl dressed as bacon handing out tissues. Scanner guys chatting with us. Hot chocolate is handed out. Great little beginner terrain park. Fantastic backside. Great runs and great grooming. Best snow in Tahoe! It's worth it to drive there in the morning!
Very disappointed in the resort all together ... What happened to the good old days this place was ran like a fine tuned machine, now the hotel was a joke they sent us to room for two when we have three people then they send us to a room that was dirty with two towels and house keeping was gone for the night!!! The restaurant wow, servers were sleeping on the job!! I have been coming here for over 35 years and this was the worst trip ever! Only plus was the snow, thank you Mother Nature
Best place in Tahoe hands down ... I've been coming here since I could walk, and it has only gotten better year after year
