Kirkwood is becoming home for me this season and for good reasons. Great runs, no lift lines, awesome backside, and so much to explore. Love it!
Excellent experience! My family and I stayed at the Kirkwood Inn, very cozy. The mountain has a wide range of terrain for both beginners and experts. I'd like to thank the hard-working kirkwood staff for keep my family safe during the storm on December 21! We'll be back next year!
The terrain is alway fun...even when it's not a powder day. I live in North lake and am alway happy to make the trek out to the Wood to shred!!!
one of my fav 5 stars skiing areas in the world i was addicted to go there N have fun every season with wonderful emerald color snow freshness all over the places and also love skiing in the back side of the bowl area.
Kirkwood has a wide-range of terrain. The mountain and surrounding area is beautiful. The mountain does have some high speed quads, but could use more. The triples are extremely slow, especially to service a bottom to top trip. The overall vertical of the mountain is no where near some other great North American ski resorts like Whistler, Jackson Hole, Squaw, or Vail.
