Good, not great – Read other reviews on this place and an article. Doesn't look like much on the inside, could have been any restaurant. Thought with the history, it would look more diner-like or something interesting. Anyway, got two cheeseburgers and fries. Burger was just okay, expected something more flavorful and juicy. Granted you get your own condiment bar but I'm a boring burger topper so I expect the meat to really stand out. Fries are breaded and fried which adds an extra crisp texture. Not what they say – This place was dirty, bad food, terrible service, o and yes they got the order wrong twice come on how many times must one thing take.
This place got it right a long time ago. Thankfully, they aren't about to tinker with 50 years of success. – Bites We Like Duh. Burgers. Think single burgers, double burgers, burgers with cheese, burgers with pineapple, burgers with pineapple and cheese. Fried Food Heaven – The burgers are chargrilled & very tasty - the fried "munchers" are yummy onion straws - fries (frunchers) are not that good though. Atmosphere is grimy, but food is very good if you like grease !
