Wow, was just now rudely chased out of this store. Apparently they close at 7pm, iThere are NO signs on the front door that says they close at 7pm. So how was I to know??? God forbid, I walked in 6 mins before they closed. Explains why she was standing by the front door with her phone in her hand, basically blocking my entrance. Kirklands as a company has nice merchandise and when on sale, fair prices. But this location needs to improve their attitude when waiting on customers. I never have anyone at the counter be friendly to me. I am a friendly person, always trying to be helpful and say thank you, but I get no response back, why isn't the store employees thanking me for my purchase? Super disappointed with this store. It has such cute things and I've found great items to decorate my home. BUT recently tried to do an even exchange but didn't have my receipt WITH AN ITEM I BOUGHT YESTERDAY. Most stores can look up rewards #s or reference a previous used card. But the associate couldn't do either. BEWARE THAT YOU MUST HAVE YOUR RECEIPT OR NOTHING CAN BE DONE FOR YOU AT THIS STORE. I won't return.
The place smells like too many candles. I would have spent more time in the store and more money, possibly if the store didn't have an over welling aroma.
This was one of my favorite stores, years ago and for some reason I stopped going after what happened to me this past Sunday I remember why, customer service is very aggressive. This being said I returned two items on Sunday and was told after I returned them that they could not refund my cash they had no money in their store.
