Dr. K is an excellent surgeon with excellent outcomes. Yes, he is busy... and you will see his PAs more than him. However, they will take great care of you. Dr. K excels in the OR, I wouldn't let anyone but him touch my knees. Two years post bilateral knee replacement and doing fantastic!
You will not be listened to or treated with respect! You are treated like a piece of meat from start to finish. Things are not explained to you even when you ask. No one has any compassion from the X-ray tech down to the doctor. I was TOLD I HAD TO HAVE weight loss surgery before he would do my knee surgery. I wasn’t told nicely that he wanted me to lose weight or given a chance to choose how to do that. I was flat out told to do surgery. Then I was told that even though my knee is bone on bone, “It’s not that bad.”
