I had a slipped disc on Aug 24th. L5 S1. Couldn't handle the pain anymore so got an appt on Sept 26th, no opt to be on a wait list. Arrived at 2pm for my 2:30 appt w/ Dr. Johnson. Was not taken into the room until 3:30pm and saw the PA Tom Thomas at 4pm. He was the best ortho I've seen whilst in the area. Explained what he saw on my cd of lower spine that I brought. The trip to Bluffton via Uber there & limo back as uber ends at 4pm... $160. I NEVER saw Dr. Johnson! A total waste of my time.

Awful experience. This guy is actually a joke. My Top Dr. in Florida for getting a Maci and Meniscus Transplant needed to get a set of local eyes on my knee for some issues I was having to save me a trip to Palm Beach. In the Past I have had an excellent PA here do this. They wanted him to call and check a specific set of things. He basically refused, didn't even touch me. Then tried to give me BAD advice. Dr. Kirk Johnson performed a TKR on both knees. One in November 2023, the other in February 2024. It would have been sooner, but I had a steroid shot in my left knee. I am truly thankful for having my TKR done by such an experienced and renourenowned surgeon. The scars were minimal and healed nicely. on right TKR.Im expecting the same outcome for the left TKR.
