Saw Jenkins for joint hypermobility, arthritis, etc. for a couple years. Discussed the possibility of EDS and he said not to worry unless I started having worsening vision problems and irregular heart rhythms (severe symptoms not even associated with hypermobile EDS). Said there was no way to screen for EDS except genetic testing that "my insurance would never cover."
