Dr. Syed is thorough and compassionate. Because of Covid I was unable to accompany my mother to see her BUT she volunteered to call me later and discuss my mom’s condition in great detail. She was generous with her time and easy to talk to with a great sense of humor. (I told her she should be extremely proud of her credentials—laughing…she said “Well…My Mom is”. ) My mother has only one kidney due to cancer so after surgery every year they scoped the other since the cancer tends to repeats. Dr. Syed is a fantastic Urologist! She has been treating me for urinary incontinence and introduced me to Medtronic's Bladder Control InterStim Device. I've had this implant for a little over a year and it has done wonders for me. I am finally getting to feel like the person I was before I had urinary complications. I am so grateful that Dr. Syed provided this option for me as it is working better than over the counter medications.
Dr. Syed is a wonderful person, very easy to talk with and very well informed as to the latest medicines and treatments. Her office staff however is a big disappointment. I had an issue with my medication. In the last 2 1/2 weeks I have left messages and have not gotten a response. I sent the doctor a fax yesterday expressing my frustration at the failure of her office nurse to respond to me. At this point I am seriously considering leaving this patient. I am speaking on behalf of my Mother who suffered a condition called Interstitial Cystitis. She has been seeing 3 different Urologists & unfortunately none of them were very helpful at all. Until her physician recommend Dr. Syed and after meeting her God does truly brings people like her who really cares & listens to you. Because of the surgery the last 4 years of horrible chronic condition seemed like ceased to exist. I highly recommend Dr. Syed because she simply awesome doctor!
