Actually I left a review on this site 3 years ago about how much I liked Dr. Kirchner. I still this he is a good eye doctor, but I have chosen to no longer be a patient there. His office staff was so rude to me today when I called to set up an appointment, and failed to even ask me any questions about my insurance coverage, which is different than the last time I went. I have been a patient of Dr. Kirchner for over 10 years (including when he used to work for another clinic), and he is the only eye doctor who ever diagnosed two long-term problems with my eyes. I would not trust any other optometrist with the care of my eyes!
Dr. Kirchner is Excellent. He spends time with his patients and their concerns. His staff is helpful and polite. When picking out glasses, the girls are honest about how your glasses look and very helpful with getting you the most for your money.
Dr Kirchner is the professional, prompt, and my prescription is always perfect.
Dr. Kirschner has been my optometrist now for two years. In that time, I have found him to be caring and concerned about my vision health. He has patiently worked to get me matched up with the proper contact prescription - even to the point of having me come in for a 2nd vision screening. I really like the setting and size of his new office. It is much more spacious that the old office on Covington St..
Very personable, great with kids, reliable and practical
Charged insurance for 4 visits for training on contacts, 3 visits should have never been charged due to staff not using correct technique. The lady doesn't wear contacts, has no clue how to direct someone. Kirchner would doesn't handle the insurance so he wouldn't take charges to insurance off. Receptionist is rude and talks about people while others sit in the waiting room. Money hungry Doctor and office.

I am very sorry you have misunderstood the policy regarding fees on training. There is only a one time training fee for new contact lens wearers, if it takes multiple visits then they are free of charge. Also we take pride in our years of experience and we do not discuss other patients in front of our patients sitting in waiting room that would be called breaking HIPPA. We are sorry you are so upset about this matter. You could of discussed the situation with us.
