This rough-and-tumble experience is like a cross between a motorcycle ride and a back-road trek. Tours take place on a working cattle ranch that covers 3,000 acres. Participants travel through forests, fields, up inclines and down riverbeds. Along the way there are plenty of sights to see; the Menehune Fish Pond and the Haupu Mountains are two of the main ones. Very informative and friendly staff. Troy and Ryan were the best guides ever! My husband and I learned a lot about the areas agricultural, economy and history. We recommend the 7:00 AM tour because you’ll see more wildlife out and about at that time. We saw wild turkeys, peacocks, pheasant, cattle and the ever present chicken, chicks and roosters. Mahalo.
Troy our guide was very accommodating and all staff are really friendly.
This was so much fun! Driving the UTV over trails and the views were spectacular. Our two guides have great knowledge of the history of ranch and of Hawaii. This was the second time we have been on this tour and there will be a 3rd and 4th, God willing. Aloha and Mahalo!
We had SUCH A GREAT TIME! Our guides, Ryan and Kale were fun and very knowledgeable about the area. Easy going; but, on point with explaining our route as well as giving tips for best ways to handle our machines. The day was beautiful and the trails were incredible. And lunch ... GREAT FOOD! Amazing lush green ranch, the 4x4ing was a lot of fun and the personnel (Ryan & Cal) we entertaining, helpful and efficient. The Kipu Ranch Adventure is a must do for the outdoors type of person.
It was a great trip. The guides Troy and Manu were wonderful and very knowledgeable. They provided a lot of information about the island both past and present. The atvs were excellent and fun to drive and ride in. It was dry so the trails were a little dusty but nothing terrible. There is some challenging terrain if you have never been off road before but Troy provided excellent advice and it seemed that everyone did well and had a good time. We did the 4 hour waterfall tour. Ryan and Troy were our awesome guides! So much fun! They educate you on the history of the ranch, answer questions and keep a watchful eye on everyone. we felt very safe. They served us up a delish picnic lunch at our halfway point too! Gorgeous views throughout, and just a great time!! Highly recommend it!!
