This rough-and-tumble experience is like a cross between a motorcycle ride and a back-road trek. Tours take place on a working cattle ranch that covers 3,000 acres. Participants travel through forests, fields, up inclines and down riverbeds. Along the way there are plenty of sights to see; the Menehune Fish Pond and the Haupu Mountains are two of the main ones. Wow! What a blast. Great group of people out today, as well. Mahalo nui loa to Ruth in booking, and also to our awesome guides, Justin and Mana. We had a great tour. The trails were challenging in places where it was steep downhill and muddy, but the great training paid off and no one was ever in danger. One driver mentioned a problem with his brakes, Justin called it in and we didn't go anywhere until a replacement 4-wheeler was quickly brought out. Today we went on our second ATV tour and it was beautiful! Troy was our guide and at 7:00 in the morning he was delightful. He had lots of knowledge, history and culture to share and we learned even more this year about Kipu Ranch. The early bird 3 hour ranch tour was totally different than the afternoon one we took last year. Something pretty special about Kauai right after sunrise. The riding was great! Scenery beautiful but tour guides James and Mark made the tour! I definitely recommend it and worth every penny! Outstanding customer service from the ladies at the front desk.

We went on the early bird Ranch tour and it was awesome! I'd definitely recommend because we avoided the hot humid sun and saw the morning sun slowly peak over the mountains and got a good deal. Our guides were AMAZING and hilarious. They know a ton about the history of the island, take you to the best photography spots and are very informative on how to use the equipment, which was very helpful for someone who is a beginner on an ATV. Thanks so much guys for an unforgettable experience. We will be back!
