Always brings his A game! My family of 6 have been seeing Dr. Kinney for over 15 years. We always been very pleased with all services from him and his staff. The facility is very nice, and we have never waited longer than 15 minutes in the waiting room, and am usually in and out in less than an hour. I also appreciate that he has ability to do x-rays in the office as I have 4 kids and find this very convenient. He is very funny and very clear in his explanations to kids and adults. The good doctor Dr. Kinney was recommended to me about 8 years ago and I have been very happy with the care I have received, both from Dr. Kinney and also from his nurses and PAs. No one has been rude. They rarely, if ever, leave me waiting. Dr. Kinney is, well, a bit eccentric, behaving sometimes like he's looney, but never like he's out of control nor incompetent. I thoroughly enjoy my visits.
Too many good things to say... I started seeing Dr. Kinney about 2 years ago when I was first diagnosed with diabetes. He was so passionate in taking the time to help me understand this disease and how we were going to gain control of it. I started seeing his nurse practioners to have blood drawn and review my results to track my progress. Looking for a new doc I'm very disappointed with the office staff. Unbelievable that they have no regard for Dr. Kenney's patients. My sons insurance was cancelled unbeknownst to me and I asked for the self pay rate only to be declined. When I asked if Dr. Kenney was willing to loose a patient over a $35.00 discount Fran's reply was, "let me fax you the consent form so we know where to transfer your records." Steven Kinney MD Dr Kinney is a very good doctor, & his staff is very well trained in their profession. I have been going to this facility for many years, as well as all my family. I have recomended HFP to many of my friends as well. As far as Ms Betty goes, I have never had any problems with her & do believe the complaints written are by people who want to be pampered like a cuddly baby. You are at a doctors office. Take what you get and be happy.
Old Hickory I have been seeing Dr Kinney or his PA's for several years. I go in once a year for a physical then follow up six months later for blood work. The entire staff is very pleasant and friendly except miss Betty, I have had many dealings with her and none were pleasant, she is very rude and short tempered, the only thing I can figure is she must be his wife or sister, why else would he put up with that behavior and if its his wife shame on him ,
Mr I have always appreciated the care and genuine concern exhibited by Dr. Kinney and his nurse practitioners. They have always been great. I am really saddened though that I will probably have to find another family doctor to see. I had the unpleasant experience of dealing with a very rude and ill tempered receptionist. I do not know her name but she sounds like an older woman. As long as she is there I believe I will go somewhere else. Kinney Steven MD is A1+ Awesome Dr. he always has a very caring mind set. I have been seeing Dr. Kinney for many years and not once ever had a problem with him. He is a very good listener and he takes my opinion very serious. How ever the only reason I stopped to write this is after reading what another patient wrote about the staff I really must agree some of them seem like they could really care less if you were there or not. Wish he would fix this.
Kinney Steven MD is Fantastic! Dr. Kinney and his staff were amazing. The doctor gave me my first full physical in almost 10 years (I'm 47) and you guys know what that entails (no pun intended!). The doctor was caring, very, very funny, down-to-earth, and highly professional. He was also a straight shooter: he was forthright about some lifestyle changes I need to make in order to avoid the risk of heart attack, and gave me a month's worth of samples of a med to lower my blood pressure.
