It's a shame I have to find a new salon after being with Kinks & Coils since 2020. The new hours of availability are almost impossible for anyone with a normal M-F job to work with. I had an appointment for the 15th that I had made prior to getting a new full time job and called to see if they would maybe consider taking me an hour later and was met with a very blunt "Well you're her last appointment of the day so..." and "I can try to have her call you but I dunno if she's gonna be able to do that for you" and I get no one ... read more

I’ve been getting my hair loc’d and styled by Melly for a while now. She is very professional, informative and very good at what she does. The ladies in the shop are always in good spirits. A great business offering great service as well as great vibes. 100% recommend.

Ms. Melly has been my stylist for the last few months and she is definitely heaven sent. Melly is always on time and takes pride in the work that she does. Melly takes great care of my locs and makes sure I look presentable at my place of work. The owner and all the workers are very friendly and extend amazing hospitality with each visit. I always have a great experience whenever I visit this shop!!!

I wish I could do less than 1 star got hair done today crochet services and loc repair was requested. The young lady Bre was nervous and inexperienced and mentioned she was basically a mechanic I spent over 200 and my hair looks a mess I’m very displeased and will never go back… I suggest anyone going here for the first time to visit the shop and see their work first.
