Dr. Kinkel retired in December of 2023. He was great. I will miss him.
Dr. Kinkel is very courteous, respectful and so incredibly knowledgeable. He is a fantastic Doctor and very helpful with treating headaches.
The UCSD Neurology staff is great. Dr. Kinkel... not so much.
I truly loved having him as a doctor. I had to move out of state 3 years ago and since then I have been taken off the medication he had prescribed and I am absolutely suffering. I truly wish more doctors could be like him. I'm ready to give up do to suchawdul medical treatment now. If i could only turn back time :'(
He was a great doctor to deal with, but back in April, his practice let go everyone who was not diagnosed with MS. That includes suspicious cases as well! I had an allotment scheduled already and they sent a letter in the mail. Now I'm out a neurologist. I'm not happy. That was very unprofessional of them. I will NOT recommend them!
Dr. Kinkel is very patient. He listens to the patient and takes time to understand your situation. His office can run behind, but this is due to his taking time for each individuals needs. His staff is fantastic. His infusion nurse is informative, and the environment is calming. Dr. Kinkel takes the time to help you understand your disease, disease process and treatments available.
Dr. Kinkle its a doctor whom takes his work seriously. His care and support for his patients are his number one priority! He doesn't give up on his patient he strives for the best treatment available regardless of your insurance. His staff is respectful and courteous. I would recommend Dr. Kinkle @ 5 Limestone Drive, Williamsville, New York to everyone!
I'm having a really horrid flare up. I have had MS for 11 yrs so I know my body. That being said I tried to call the emergency # on Sun. No call back. Called office on Mon. No call back. Waited a day called on Wed... 3 times. Got major attitude from 1 of the secretaries. No call back. Called Thurs, 3 times, finally went to office (around 3pm) and was told I couldn't be seen and had to go to ER. Went to ER and hospital staff couldn't reach him either. Thanks for dropping the ball Kinkel!
I have suffered with migraines for years. They are extreme enough that I am unable to function, missing holidays, time with my family, and work. I visited with Dr. Kinkel and he prescribed medication that has effectively treated them. I haven't missed work since visiting with him, I never have to give up more than an hour or two of time with my family now, while I wait for the medications to kick in. Best of all, there is no real side effects, or addiction worries to the medications I'm on
