One of the best places I’ve been in a while. First off the atmosphere was so cool and laid back. Then the food was just amazing. So fun. Can’t wait till I go back.
This place is really fantastic. They should have a subcategory for Affordability as well, because you can order the whole menu with drinks at Kinjo with a party of 4 and only spend $150 per head. This is going to be Michelin rated soon, so that's utterly fantastic. Big fan.
This place is an experience. It represents itself as an Italian restaurant with a Japanese twist. The chef is very good at what he does. The service is impeccable. However, it is just a little too avant-garde for me. The menu is small and limited. The night I was there the chef made extensive use of anchovies. The wine list is extensive. My short rib accompanied with homemade pasta was dark, intense and excellent. I had this little tomato shaped ice cream/granita dessert. It was visually a work of art.
Other restaurants should learn from you on how to be original and do it right This is my favorite restaurant of the year and in my top 3 in Tampa Bay We cannot wait for our next reservation at the end of the month
