This was years ago but I still feel I should share. We had an emergency visit one night. The vet said we didn't need xrays and prescribed a medication. After 2 days we could tell the meds were not helping, so we scheduled with our normal vet. It was revealed the meds could have killed my dog to top it off they stated I refused to get xrays (noting I asked if we should I was willing to pay it if needed). Just always trust your gut.
Brought our beloved kitty Toby in on a Sunday morning after a few days of sickness - physical exam, xrays and meds all happened while we were on site and we left a few hours later with our precious bebe. We went home feeling validated, educated and confident in our home-care plan. Within 72 hours Toby was back to herself and we were so relieved. Special thank you to Dr. Hend Salem and Shawna for your expertise and exceptional customer service.

From our initial emergency phone call to discharge, in the middle of a November snow storm to boot, everyone was so lovely, caring, and acted in the best interest of our beloved dog, who is 100% back to herself because of the care we received. Thank you.
So grateful to have the Kingston Regional Pet Hospital provide 24/7 care on the weekend in our community. I was in a panic on Sunday when my pug started vomiting hours after eating a cotton ball.
