RecommendedAbsolutely beautiful place in a convenient location. A very unique and comfortable house with lots of nature surrounding you. The lodging is well taken care of and the grounds are nice to explore. I wish I could’ve been here when the lavender was in season! Matt was easy to communicate and work with.
Gorgeous grounds, unique lodging on site and convenient location. When looking to book an event, make very sure you account for every situation! Have those difficult discussions and everything in writing. Even when you have it in writing, make sure the owner upholds the agreed upon contract. Be careful with how stuff gets interpreted...and make sure you have a timeline for cancelation. Hopefully all of the above will allow others to navigate this venue easier than us :-/
My husband and I had a magical wedding this past July at Kingston House. The venue is amazing and so perfect for an outdoor summer wedding, especially at peak lavender time. We had a great experience working with Matt the venue manager, he was very helpful, fast at replying to my emails and had some great suggestions. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding!
Not even sure how to begin! THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VENUE...and gracious host for our daughter's wedding. We had a bit of rain...but that just added to the romanticism of the event. Our host did not try to dictate that we move in doors but allowed us to take the chance...and pivoted quickly to make adjustments for the rain. My daughter was in a serious auto accident on Miller Bay Rd (very close to The Kingston House), this Thursday late afternoon. We are blessed that she and the other driver did not have major injuries! Matt Kelley, from The Kingston House, heard the noise from the wreck and immediately came to help. He was amazing, doing everything possible- to directing traffic, having an employee bring water & chairs to the 2 accident victims, assisting emergency services & family members who came to the sight. If you have any hesitation about whether to hold your wedding at Kingston House, don't! It was the most beautiful location for our recent August nuptials! From the grounds to the house to the service, everything was amazing. It was so convenient to wake up on the morning of and not need to travel anywhere. At the end of the night when all the guests had left, Matt offered to build us a fire to enjoy. I cannot say enough positive things about the flexibility of the venue and how organized and kind Matt is in running it!
Fabulous venue for a wedding or a family vacation! Seattle at it's finest!
