What a wonderful place to live. My wife and I have lived in Kings Ridge for 22 years and we love it more each year. I am writing this plea to all of the Kings Ridge residents who are planning to vote in the primaries in August. My son-in-law Douglas Shields of Clermont is running against Tim O'Conner who voted FOR the sand mine south of Kings Ridge and ALSO the attempt for a builder to twist the intent of the zoning laws to increase density IN the GREEN SWAMP allowing 6 dwellings per acre instead of 1 per 10 ACRES. I lived in Kings Ridge for 17 years, and the last 2 years the HOA has become extremely unreasonable in dealing with homeowners. This place has change greatly since I first moved here. I was threatened by the Chairperson of the Master ACC Committee to change the color of my home or face fines for being in violation of the newly approved KR color schemes.
