I been going to King's Grill since the late 70's excellent place I love the old atmosphere the food is delicious Ms. Pat and her daughter always remembered me and my moms and don't forget the desserts I had Strawberry Shortcake yesterday it was so good and fresh if u want Southern cooking I recommend this place.
Hour are not 7:30-2:30. Breakfast 7:30-10am and Lunch 11am-2:30. For those of us coming from out of town - would be nice to know. If you arrive a 9:55am you get whatever is left over. They lost a customer today and since there was only one person in there must be only local customers. We were looking forward to eating in a historic Valdosta restuarant :-(
The best meal you'll have and then that custard, nilla wafers, bananas and that meringue browned to perfection. The best banana puddin and sweetest waitress you'll ever find. Luv y'all
My wife, Nancy, her cousin Regina and I finally made it here to eat after years of poor timing on our part. Definitely worth the wait but there won't be a large gap before we leave Orlando and head back. Nancy and Regina's moms both worked here over 40 years ago and my wife found that even an aunt had once worked here. Enough of that....The ambiance was fantastic.
