First time in King’s Carlsbad! High price small portions, service is very slow, the place was not busy, wine glass is about 1/4 full, we loved the service/food @the Long Beach location not The Carlsbad location
RecommendedFriendly server when we were there. Food was great.
The food took extremely long to come out and it was not a bust night. All the fried foods were over cooked. The service however was excellent.

Our serves James was awesome and funny.. missed a few things but the fact that he checked on us and made us laugh made us overlook the minor stuff..
Was here last night on vacation, and would not recommend. Two bowls of clam chowder soup, each only 1/2 full, sad was sharing with grandkids. Waiter recommended wild salmon in a sauce for husband and way to much sauce that he couldn’t finish the salmon. Grandkids got the kids fried shrimp and even though they ate it, they had to remove 1/2 the breading because burnt. I had a shrimp in tomato base pasta and wasn’t half bad, but totally did not agree with me later. For the price of $120 was so not worth it.
My Halibut was excellent, but my husband's Salmon was really plain. He had it grilled but it did not have any flavor. Our waiter was good but not excellent. He could have been more attentive. All in all I would have given it 3.5 stars, but could not do that.
