RecommendedThis hospital took a terrified lady that could hardly breath and gave her back her life! I will be forever grateful! My family and I have always received excellent care at KDMC for the past 20+ years. They are our only locally owned and operated heath care facility and they do so much for our community.
I was in KDMC a month ago because SOMC sent me there I was there for 3 days Great hosp. My Dr are at KDMC In Portsmouth Ohio Great Care ER & Hosp stay.
I was kick out of Kings Daughters last night over Lies that was old by a Rn, and a nurse. The guards are rude as will. I ask for my Mother to be transported to another, to where her lung doctor was, and all I said is ill getting a hold of my sisters, and my lawyer. So I went in to my Mother room and told her that they where keeping her, and that was it, and i went to my car. so after a few minutes, i returned back I was meet with one guard, he said can I see you her, i said after I see My mother, and I started walking to my ... read more
I recommend The ER , ICU.
the security guards & nursing staff in the ER are very rude, they want total & complete control over patients, acting like your in prison, rather than a hospital. Zero bedside manner! I would rather go to my dogs Vet, than have to go to KDMC

Dr. Baker is an awesome ent he has patience for children with special needs. The staff and the nurses are awesome , caring loving. I will give them a 10 star rating if there was one. If you need an ent doctor Dr Baker is the one.. please parent of a child who seen dr ,Baker
EXCELLENT PHYSICIANS In ALL SPECIALTY AREAS!!!!! Clean hospital! Inpatient care is superb, although during a recent hospitalization on 4D, I found the night shift staff to be FAR more courteous and supportive of patient care needs than I did day shift. Veronica and Sara were outstanding! I found it very comforting that Dr. Willis took time to pray with me!
