When my 76 was admitted fr the ER the cabinet in her room had the prior pt's emesis on it . My feet stuck to the floor when I walked in the room.Nasty. Cobwebs on top of TV. She didn't get her evening meal fed to her after I strongly expressed her blood sugar dropped. And it did 47. Glad I came back so she could get a tray and flds so she didn't die. The elderly do not get treated like they should.

Amazing nurses! Always there to help you no matter whst
I was stabbed 7xs to get my thyroid tested before I could get help. 7xs! She used a syringe to pull out blood. She needed 2 more tubes, but didn’t take it. KDMC you need to teach your phlebotomists how to take blood. After the 1st two times, I told her she went too deep and hurt me. It’s a surface vein, you either know how to get in a vein or you don’t. They needed. 3 different people. I am NOT happy. This is how I was left. She took the needle out before she took off the tourniquet. And left me a bruised, hurting, bloody me... read more
very good bed manners and they do care bout their patients
I am so thankful for the Emergency Department, Dr. Collins (ED) Dr. Marcum in the anesthesiologist department for helping my daughter with her spinal migraine. We owe so much to them and we appreciate it dearly. The nurses and staff were great. Also Portsmouth KDMC urgent care actually helped us get the help we should have received at Southern Ohio Medical Center after basically refusing to help us. We appreciate all that y’all do to help others. Thank you!
Only 2 people in the er still took 45 minutes to get called to triage, place is pathetic!!
