Currently live here. Don't trick yourself into making compromises for the low rent. There is a reason. This place is a garbage pile run by people who couldn't care less. The buildings are falling apart. Moving in I've found multiple holes in the walls, some neglected and some "patched" with the least amount of effort. My dishwasher, which is probably as old as me, broke within a month and my heater doesn't work. Twice I've received a late payment notice for power and water before I even received the actual bill.
