Very disappointing experience I was referred to Kinghaven Counseling by my son’s pediatrician after his school requested an ADHD evaluation. Although I was hesitant due to negative reviews, I decided to proceed because my priority was my son’s health and well-being. From the beginning, the experience was uncomfortable. Was going to take my daughter here despite the reviews. But whoever is in charge of answering the phones needs to do a better job. The guy who has the accent is rude and doesn’t know how to probably greet people. Did I mention he hung up on me after asking to speak with someone in the office. After calling back and asking why he hung up on me he sent me to someone else who’s also rude and doesn’t even know why I was calling. This place is awful. My daughter used to use a different location. After a full year of so-called treatment at that location, my daughter ended up in the hospital. When I tried to tell the provider that my daughter had an emergency situation and had to be hospitalized, she refused to speak to me because my daughter wasn't present and she said she couldn't bill without the patient being present. If I could put a 0 I would. Waited over 3 hours to see my therapist for a telehealth and therapist blamed me for her being late. My son has been a patient here for years, and while things used to run smoothly, the quality of care and service has seriously gone downhill recently. No one ever answers the phone, and it’s nearly impossible to get a call back. Prescriptions are constantly called into the pharmacy incorrectly, which has caused unnecessary delays and stress.
