The eggs Benedict was so full of garlic that it overpowered everything on the plate. The breakfast potatoes were swimming in a pool of oil. The service started attentive and then disappeared even thought there were only 3 other tables in the whole place. The coffee was good. I would not eat here again.
The worst meal I have ever had. Pasta tasted like alfredo from a jar. Added chicken was just a big poached whole chicken breast with zero seasoning, grilling or anything, thrown on the side. $80 and we ate two bites. Even my son would not eat it. Trust the reviews and skip it, even if staying at the resort.
The King Fisher restaurant as horrible as others have mentioned. They offer few choices for a main course so they should be stellar. I ordered Brisket that looked and tasted like a bad pot roast. It had no flavor and was dry. They were having a wedding party next day so all the nice tables near the windows were taken out and the hall was partitioned off. Gone are the days of staying at Sleeping Lady for the best food I've ever had.
Have been here several times over the past six years and had seen things decline, but the incredible atmosphere kept me coming back. With new management I'm so glad to say they are back and better than ever. The salad with vinaigrette was excellent, the special appetizer of morels was the best I've ever had, my pasta was perfectly prepared, but I can't say it was fresh made (thus the 4 stars vs. 5 on food at this price point).
