Too expensive compared to competitors and when I decided to leave Choice did everything in their power to prevent me from doing so. I had to call DAILY in order to move things along wasting several hours of my time. If I didn't call daily I bet the transfer would still be "in progress". Choice seems to retain customers by placing cumbersome roadblocks in the way of transferring out in hopes that they will become too disheartened to continue or else forget about their outgoing transfer.
Cannot get hold of anyone. Kingdom Trust moved to Digital Trust. No one responded to my email after 13 days. No one picks up the phone call. Please leave this company ASAP.
I was a customer from 9/2017 to 1/2025. Kingdom Trust now Digital Trust didn't lose my assets. But, if you are looking for a custodian that has low fees, you may want to look elsewhere. They charged me a 1% annual custody fee for digital assets, billed monthly at 0.083% of your average account balance, plus an additional 1% per trade. Terrible customer service. Cannot get hold of anyone. Need documentation signed as custodian of my IRA - 3 weeks no response from anyone except automated message saying they are experiencing high volume of calls. At a loss as to what to do as documentation needs signing by 9/30. Avoid this company at all costs.
I was told it could take 4-6 weeks to transfer my Ira’s…ridiculous! We live in 2024
