I have used King Relocation Services three times in the last 9 years. First move was in 2011 from South County to Cypress, CA. As I can remember the move went without a hitch, so I called them to make my 2nd move in 2015 from Cypress to Stanton, CA. This did not go as smoothly. I was under estimated in weight resulting in too small of a truck, not enough manpower and longer to load and unload (I had NOT added any new furniture since the first move). Do NOT USE King Relocation Services and Mayflower!!!! Even though their movers are semi competent (and very nice), the company is COMPLETELY inept at being a logistics company. We moved from Los Angeles to Nashville this summer. King Relocation Services picked up our stuff on June 13th. In February 2020, King moved me ffrom Los Angeles to Stamford Connecticut. DO NOT use them for your move. Here is what went wrong: 1.Movers damaged a wall and did not tell me. They let me discover it after they had left. Really crappy thing to do. I called to report it and emailed photos. This is where it went from bad to worse...king's insurer was going to handle it...i had to file a claim, they had to come view it themselves, they would schedule the repair...all on their schedule. We were living on the 3rd floor of a walk up, and moved to the 3 floor of another walk up! The movers were fantastic, they had to carry everything down the stairs, then up the stairs in our new apartment. They were a great crew. There was zero damage! King look after our entire move and provided excellent support! Thank you Connie!
Stress-free and very smooth process. The crew arrived on time. My items were supposed to be delivered the day after packing but they were able to accommodate me and delivered it the same day. The coordinators helped a lot to make the move as seamless as possible. They communicated frequently to make sure everything was explained and all questions were answered. Couldn’t have done it without their help!
They moved my brother in-law in June and did an excellent job
