This is not the place for you unless you like going back to them every few days to do a repair. They like to skimp when applying the acrylic, therefore, causing my nails to continuously break and be in the need of repair. I’d rather spend my money and go to the nail salon next to hooters on university and pines. They charge more, but they are very efficient and apply enough acrylic to prevent the nail from breaking. I honestly do not know how this place is still open and how the department of health has allowed it. To begin with, nobody wears gloves, all of the tools they use are rusted and dirty, othing is autoclaved. They put the tools in the little package to make it seem like it was auto claved; but if you notice none of the packages are sealed or have a broken seal, meaning they're not auto claved. UPDATE: it has been 2 weeks since i did ny nails here, and I was feeling some pain on my pinky finger. I went to a DIFFERENT, independent nail artist to remove my nails and get them redone. Only to find out i have a NAIL FUNGUS under my arcylic on both my hands that was causing the nail to detatch. She told me this can be caused by improper cleaning of tools and lack of education. While they have excellent craftsmanship, they fail to be transparent with their process. I came in for French tips and did not expect such a large white block at the tips. They then proceeded to blame me for not telling them i wanted a thinner line and pressured me into keeping them as is, claiming there was no other fix. I had the nail painted over at a different salon where they were able to give me a thinner french tip. Also, during my pedicure, they upped my package from the basic without consulting me throughly.
