In violation of New York State tenant protection laws by transferring the security deposit responsibility to another tenant and refusing to send it back to me directly.
Lived under KNG Management for 2 years and they were very problematic from the beginning. Gave us the wrong key to the apartment, told us wrong amounts of deposits and then demanded more money the day before our Move-In date. Anytime we needed help from the Super it was a hassle, the Super even demanded a $50 tip to assist us one time. Very sketchy Management. WARNING: VERY sketchy management. I asked if I could lease transfer and they said they could and I got approval of a tenant. He put down the first month and deposit and they said when they get back from vacation they will send the lease to him. In the process, they told me to move out. The guy backed out after moving in last minute and now they are telling me I'm stuck with paying the rest of the lease while I'm living with my girlfriend. Every single month we’ve rented this brand new unit from them, there has been an issue. Moldy AC, defective water heater, ceiling leak. Management takes extremely long to schedule repairs, and usually just has the super try his best to fix.
KNG Management: Abe, Miriam and the rest of the crew are cravenous, dishonest, inconsiderate and racist. I am not anti-semitic but dare I say, dealing with this particular group of men and women, really brought me to the verge. They took my money and personal information as a ruse.
