Fresh fish steamed is the best here. I am looking forward to dim sum with my friend. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good Chinese steamed fish, lobster. If you order lobster, order the 4-1/2 lb. to get more meat than smaller lobster.
Authentic – When I was a kid, I read this book called Fifteen by Beverly Cleary. It was about this very white high school girl who had a crush on this guy named Stan. Stan takes her to this chinese restaurant for their first date and she is freaking out because she thinks she might be eating cats, dogs insects, intestines, pieces of troll nails, etc. and didn't want to do anything embarassing like throw up on her sweetheart. It was pretty insulting to chinese food in general. You'd have to be a moron to think that rice could... read more
` Codfish (Sauteed Codfish accompanied by a Stuffed Sweet Pepper with Octopus-Red Wine Sauce and Basquaise Emulsion): I thought this was a little bit of a notch below the escolar. The codfish was crispy golden on the outside and was moist and tasty but the pepper was OK. I can't even remember what it was stuffed with so it was that memorable. The sauce was delightful but was surprisingly diluted by the juice that came out of the fish
Most of my friends who live in Orange, Villa Park, Yorba Linda & Anaheim Hills, When we have a mood for Dim Sum or fresh seafood, we either drive to Rowland Heights or Irvine, it took an hour for driving, sometimes I just gave up and cook at home..... I am so glad that there is a Chinese restaurant in our neighborhood, Dim sum is delicious, not only that, service is great, you don't need to wait too long for refill hot water in the tea pot. They replace your dishes often, tableware is clean, and the most important thing is .... read more
This place is pure trash dump if you ask me. The servers are bunch of rude Chinese people who speaks in chinese and I've heard them bad mouth our table, just because of the fact that we're not chinese. At one point I saw one of the waitress pouring water that some customer left on the table to clean it. How sanitary is that?! Don't ever fall for their $10 lobster deal that I've never had. First of all.. it's not $10. The moment you sit down, they will tell you the price was only for grandopening. My family decided to order t... read more
The lobster special was mostly lobster shell chopped up with only a couple of very small pieces of edible lobster meet. We also ordered sweet and sour chicken, which consisted of tiny, almost imperciptible bits of chicken coated with massive amounts of greasy dough. Although they were stingy with the lobster and chicken meat, at least the purchase price included desert: a bowl of grayish white glue.
