King Farm was started by Dana King's grandparents, George PeteKing and his wife Caroline in 1922 as a dairy farm. They sold milk to neighbors and friends as well as in the towns of Townsend, Lunenburg and Fitchburg MA. Their children, Wally, Albert, Paul and Priscilla all grew up in the old farmhouse at King Farm. Wally BumpsKing ( Dana's father ) was born in that old farmhouse in 1923.
