This is horrible business. I sign a two year contract and when the time was up for cancelation or renewal I called to cancel because the gym smells bad and I barely use it. The person that I spoke in the phone with told me that I had to send a letter by mail 30 days prior to the due date and I did. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!!! You'll regret if ANYTHING happens which causes you to be unable to go. I previously worked in Chapel Hill so it was a convenient location. When I signed up, I specifically asked if I would be able to cancel my membership if I changed jobs. I was told that there would be no problem. I had high hopes for this gym when they took Peak and renovated it. It was nice and clean for awhile but seemed to decline quickly. I joined this gym because it was convenient to my work place. I had to commit to two years. After a year, I changed jobs and found it nearly impossible to get there to work out. I could not cancel because I had not moved my residence. Stuck for another year. This gym is full of racist caucasian people who don't want any African American people attending. I wouldn't recommend anyone outside of their race to attend it. Their service is poor and not up to par and I'm not ever going back. It's a shame people are still so racist in this country and can get away with treating someone not tbe same color like garbage. It's pure ignorance on their part and God Bless them all because they need it.

When I joined I was lead to believe that I could cancel with a one months notice! That is not the case and you are required to be a member for two years! No one said anything about two years! There is a small section called Terms of membership and renewal provisions that the sales person points out as being "what we discussed about the membership" and says please initial.
