Kinder Spirits has our third fur baby as of this review. I first encountered Kinder Spirits with my Gracie Lou in October 2022. I had never heard of aquamation until I sought services at this office, which I was so appreciative that I was offer this alternative. Next was our Ginger Girl who passed in August 2025 and then our Artemis on January 10th 2026. Dr. Barrett was truly amazing. We had made the decision to put our precious Winston down and we were dreading having to do so. In the past, we've utilized a general veterinary office for euthanasia services and while staff are kind, it can feel somewhat "cold". Dr. Barrett offers such a sensitive and personalized service. She called me very quickly for a consult and was able to see me for the appointment within a few days. Dr. Barrett helped two of our dogs, Gypsy and Dukes, transition over the rainbow within the past year. I am still shedding tears of grief as I type this, but I take pride and comfort knowing that they both passed without feeling fear or pain. Dr. Barrett shows the upmost care, respect, and patience for not only the animals she is giving peace to, but to their family as well. I will always appreciate Dr. Barrett and her family for giving my fur babies a peaceful transition over the rainbow.
We can't say enough good things about Dr. Barrett and her team at Kindred Spirits. Dr. Barrett came to our rescue when our beloved dog stopped eating while we were visiting Tucson. He was 15 years old and had several health issues, and it was apparent he was at the end of his life. It was an extremely difficult time for us.
