My wife was transferred from another facility to Kindred Hospital in Sugarland. She had been in the other facility (a level 4 rated trauma center) for approximately 5 weeks. She had suffered progressive paralysis from Guillain-Barre Syndrome and was on a ventilator. Although the Guillain Barre Syndrome had been successfully treated with IVIg transfusions, due to nursing staff neglect she had developed a stage 4 decubitus ulcer. Our experience here has been phenomenal! The staff is kind to my mom at every step. My mom is still here but I have decided to take a pause and let others know about our experience at Kindred Hospital Sugar Land so far. I am very overwhelmed with Sugar Land Kindred Hospital. As it calls itself a 'intermediate long-term care hospital.' They care for chronically and critically ill patients. They specialize in care to those who require an extended stay in a hospital setting. The facility is beautifully designed and very upscale for long-term care and ICU. The facility from inside and outside has been kept and maintained very clean. Terrible place! Terrible terrible place! Needs to be shut down! My mother suffered in this place and I will get to the bottom of this. Animals in the ceiling running around! Just horrible! Very unsanitary! Seeking legal help, nobody should have to experience such lack of care, professionalism, but they sure collected from medicare!!!

TMH Sugarland, has a good excellent service. I always had good care from doctors and nurses, technicians. But, I can’t believe that TMH is a monster of hospital, with new technology, but, their Lab it is sooo small, it is only ONE room for hundreds of people, you need to be there at 7am, so they can see you, patients are complaining that they had been there for hours, you have to wait on the hallway because the one room is so small.
