The nurses and doctors were great and caring, 5 stars in my opinion, number one in my book as a former patient. The management staff seemed to care about the bottom line that is money not the patient so much, they get 2 stars. I wound up getting an unnecessary CAT scan and a extra day in the hospital. I feel was there fault.
The worst thing we have ever done as a family was to send our family member to Kindred. The staff there does not work with the patients, they hard work is performed, with malice by medical nursing students from Concord Medical School, and they can care less if it is performed correctly. Trained staff sets at the nurses station playing on their phone and it will easily take 30-45 minutes to get them to come to the patients needs. I have a family member that was sent her to help re-gain their strength to return home. Staff has not worked with them like they assured us they would do. There is no communication between shifts, and when questions are asked, nurses look like they are completely lost. This is a a learning hospital for Concord Medical, and the staff is only there to get the hours and experience they need to make the next step to a job that is more profitable to themselves. The staff here is amazing and work very efficiently together. They remember me after a year of not being here. Always very friendly and caring. I would recommend this hospital 100%.great group of people.
RecommendedI would recommend Kindred, to anyone because of the level of care you receive. The Doctors and Nursing staff are attentive and patient. Their bedside manner is top-notch. I don't think that the positive outcome I experienced would have been the same anywhere else. To all of the staff at Kindred extend a sincere Thank You.
