This is the worst place that you would ever imagine...my mom was in there 7 weeks and wasn't getting any better..she kept getting worse..she contacted a bedsore stage 4 while she was there.they said it was cleared up when the family had her transferred over to nortons...they lied and she has been taken care of real well at nortons hospital...how kindred could even be referred to as any kind of hospital is sickening. ...if u cherish your loved ones you will never let them be put in there..because they would probably not make ... read more

Please do not send your loved ones here. My grandma almost didn't make it out alive due to the neglegence and horrible care she got from the nurses here. They were over medicating her and neglecting her from the start.
This place was trying to kill my grandma. Our family cares about our grandma and we could see the damage they were doing to her, I feel sorry for the patients who don't have much family that comes in or calls. They will tell you all is good when in actuality nothing is good. They just want to keep pushing meds on their patients, so they don't have to deal with them. Worst place I have seen. My grandma is back in Norton and doing so much better. Please don't send your loved ones here.
Worst place ever, my grandma came from a great hospital Norton, to here was here for 7 weeks until we had enough of her not getting any better, they told us her bed sore was completely healed , we moved her back to Norton and the bed sore was stage 3 with tissue showing. They lie, they dont do their job, they push meds on patients so they don't have to deal with them , if you truly care for your loved one please don't put them here , good chance they won't make it out. This place is terrible, it is dirty no its more than dirty it's nasty. The nursing staff has horrible bed side manner. My grandmother has set in her on urine and feces for so long that I finally took it upon my self and cleaned her up. That has happened more than once. They do not regularly bathe their patients. Nor do they frequently clean bed linens. My grandmother's sheets have been dirty with body fluids more than once when I came to see her. Dirty needles have been left out the mattress is always dirty. So I just called to check on my mother, and ask to be put through to my mothers room... no answer. I call back and got Janet. I ask if she would check to see if my mother had a phone in her room, she checked and advised that she didn't have a phone. I ask why, she said she didn't know she wasn't her nurse!! What the hell!! People get your loved ones out of Kindred Hospital . I will get my mother out of there immediately. This place is nasty and apparently incompetent.
