This review is based on Wayne Pettus's care while at Kindred. Overall the nursing staff was kind and attentive. The case manager however (I will leave specific names off of the review) was not supportive of the patient, the needs of the patent , and family. Her whole goal is to get the patient our of her hospital as quickly as possible with no concern of what's best for the patient long term. It is pretty sad when a mandatory reporter has to call in elder abuse on their own family member. They completely neglected my uncle. We had to call 911 to have them rescue him. This is not acceptable and will be handled in legal means through the Department of Health and Medical Quality Assurance
I am writing this review for the wonderful care and attention my husband , ALLYN MOSHER, received while recovering from his hospital stay after being in a hospital for over a month elsewhere . I could not be happier with the Staff and Nurses, than if I had over saw his recovery myself . He came to them after 2 surgeries , covid and on ventilator, being in a coma for almost 4 weeks and a trac and feeding tube and not being able to do anything for himself .
